Having the Title of “something” displayed in Adobe Experience Manager Author server is probably what you are going to want to do the majority of the time. Authors are likely to expect that. And thankfully that is what happens by default. However, there can be some value to displaying the Node name rather than the Title. For example, the Title field doesn’t need to be unique. The Node name must be unique. That’s both good and bad. There is a way to override the default AEM settings and display something different. Sreekanth Choudry Nalabotu, from the Experiencing Adobe Experience Manager blog, has written up some direction for how to change things to show the Node name and not the Title. Go check it out.
